About Culinary Arts

Foods I is a semester-long class taught at Loma Linda Academy by Lori Holm. The class is intended for beginners to the kitchen. Students are taught the basics of food preparation as well as measurement conversions, kitchen safety and nutrition. Foods I is offered year-round.

Foods II can be taken either as a continuation of Foods I or as a class for students with more cooking experience. This class focuses more on international foods, deserts, and various other more advanced recipes. Foods II is only offered during the second semester.
